Become a memberPositions turn over every year, and there is always more to do than there are people doing it. The seats marked open above are real offers rather than a formality.
There is one requirement, and it is not experience. Only active members can stand for the board. So the order is join first, then put your name forward. The rest gets learned on the job, usually badly at first.
Mention it when you sign up, or say so to a board member at an event. Every role carries defined responsibilities and no authority over other members.
