AzSA, Azerbaijani Student Association at Erasmus University Rotterdam

For sponsors

Feed a room full of students and they will remember who did it

We are the Azerbaijani student association at Erasmus University Rotterdam. We run events across the academic year, and we are new, which is the honest version.

The main thing we need is catering

Our events run on food, and food is the line in our budget that actually hurts. Novruz is the big one: the biggest night of our year, the room is full, and the table is the entire point.

Cover the catering for one event and you get your name on it. Said out loud on the night, printed on the material, on the event's page here, and in the Instagram posts before and after. For a restaurant or a shop near campus, that is a room full of students learning your name in an evening.

It is a few hundred euros, not thousands. If that fits in your marketing budget, it is probably the cheapest goodwill you will buy this year.

Other things that work

A standing student discount, which we make sure our members actually know about. Space for an event, if you have a room and we do not. A recruiter who wants to meet economics, business, law and medicine students somewhere less grim than a careers fair queue. Prizes, printing, equipment. In kind support is often easier to approve on your side and just as useful on ours.

What we will not tell you

That we can deliver brand activation, or reach, or a funnel. We are a student association with an Instagram account and a very good group chat. Ask us what a given sponsorship will actually do and we will tell you, including the parts it will not do, because we would rather have you back next year than oversell you once.
